So I started Rose's Punk Rock Backpack from Stitch n Bitch a while ago, here are the pictures from the front panel.

Oh, and instead of the silly mokey (aw....NOT) I'm putting the symbol from Green Day's Warning album. She saw my hand greanade patch, and threatened to lock me in a room, listening to My Chemical Romance if I didn't knit her one. So to avoid that drastic and life-threatening happening, I'm doing this.

When Rose, Leah and I went to Starbuck on...er...TUESDAY! I went to sit down and my bag got complimented. By the man-who-would-be my husband. A mac user, a hot!nerd, who drives a fuckin red beatle. Be still my heart.

I finally got black yarn!!! :breaths as if she just finished a marathon...a tomatoe marathon:

As well as white and a facimile of red yarn. Thats right kids, now I can make hand grenade patches.

I also got material for my messenger bag. I've decided against making a window to see the moxy fruvous patches because, well, I'm not always so decisive. Instead, I'm going to mount it on material, and be able to attach it to random things when the mood hits me. Like sweatshirts...or the cat.

The fabric is so cool. The body of the bag is going to be made with the maroon, and the strap, flap, pockets with the stripey goodness. Hep, punk, Ari. What more could I ask for?

This is the stash (I will build one. Even though my mother is against it. Well, lets call it my first act of rebellion.

....yeah.) ON the fabric.

There.

Off to be productive (ha!),

I finished! :glee:

Now to sew on the spaceship (after I print it out) and make a bag for it! I decided not to duplicate stitch 'Moxy Fruvous' onto the top because the print is so pretty without it anyway.

I got in the Zone. You know the Zone. Where you knit and knit and knit until its 12:35 and you have no clue how Harry is already out of the Pensive but the progress sure is good...

Im getting frustrated with my current project- Stitch n' Bitch's Razor's Edge. Inspired by a post in punk_knitters  I decided to make band patches! Seeing as how this house has no black yarn I can use (either the stuff from my current project or the alpacka yarn we bout in Israel) I can't make a Green Day one.

Yet.

But I shall prevail. And prevail I have, for I have made a graph to do inartasia for a Moxy Fruvous patch! heh. The cover from You Will Go to the Moon. Ill probably duplicate-stitch on the rocket ship. Or something equally creative.

Heres the graph.

In light of my recent high-speed knitting fetish, I decided to make a LiveJournal for it.

  • I will write in full sentances.
  • Capitilize, punctuate, etc.

I'll set up a link for my finished projects soon. But first I have to finish Frankenstein.
